This is smooth - one of those "why didn't I think of that" *foreheadsmack* things that's so obviously right you can't understand why you weren't doing it already. Sounds like it would be a real timesaver for refs & players alike.

Thanks. For the record, I don't claim the idea of a campaign proposal to be completely original; someone mentioned something pretty similar in the feedback of this column ages ago (around the time of my third column about a year or so ago I believe).
