One of the things that struck me when I went inside the pyramids was how cramped everything was. A lot of the big chambers are fairly impressive, but for the most part you had to crouch to get through the connecting tunnels.

It was pretty dark and claustrophobic in there too, and that was with the electric lights every thirty paces.

Not the sort of place you want to be when a D+D poison gas trap is triggered, or a Mummy attacks.
