This really sounds interesting, I remember playing the first edition of Og many years ago, and the rules seemed pointlesly clunky for such game.

One thing I have always loved about it is that when the number of words used for communication is limited players start to physically roleplay around the table, gesturing and swinging loudly with arms to communicate in non-verbal way what they want to other players.
