Well, I suppose it's only right I introduce myself.
Hello, my name is Steve T. Laws, I'm an artisan. I'm just learning how to hock my wares. I've got my will work for food sign, and I can stand out on the corner of a busy intersection for 2-3 hours; I'm working real hard get it up to 7-10 hours, though. My people skills are still a bit modest. If I'm not ignored or yelled at, I get breathmints and soup hurled at me for all my trouble, on a good day people throw nickles.
My abilities as an artisan can be found here (http://www.epilogue.net/cgi/database/art/list.pl?gallery=809)
I've still much to learn, so watching me learn the ropes might be fun, or funny, depending on the situation.
Thanks to you all for listening and baring with me, I appreciate it.

This is way better than mine. I hate that.
Very nice stuff, though. Your pictures are fun to look at, show lots of patience, and are very pleasing to the eye. I'm impressed.

P.S. Steve, if you're seriously interested in working for Spectre Press, drop me an e-mail (matt@spectrepress.com). I've got several really good artists already, but you can obviously hold your own.

Uhm, Steve....
You can buy a hell of a lot of Ramen for what any of those pictures should bring.
My favorites are Rude Awakening, Guard Watch, and Untitled (Create World)
Beautiful work!

You are a talented artist. Don't put yourself down. It makes me annoyed.
There's plenty of other people ready to do the criticism for you, in the crazy world of RPG illustration, so you dont have to.
Someone employ this man immediately! ( see how they rush to fulfill my every command...er...)
Good Luck with it!
wow, I mean: WOW
Your works are great. I see your future as beautiful and colorful as your pics are.
Best regards,
roog

Hey Steve,
I've seen you around town before, I'm working the street light two blocks over myself. You have some good work, I wish I thought of peddling my art. . .dammit. I've been out here holding up "Will fight evil for food" signs for months now. Hope everything works out, you have a bright future ahead of yourself and don't forget it.

Wow, you guys are grand! You're all so very nice. Thank you all for the pleasant comments and great support.
Matt: Trust me, it ain't better than yours. Yours is the bell of the ball. Yours is the one all of the boys will ask.
Misguided: Heh, I'm still learning to hock my wares, soes as of now they are worth a whole sentimental lot, but as for how much tangible revenue they've earned me: it couldn't buy a cocktail weenie with a rat attached, or vice versa.
Joh H.:Yes, sir! I will do my best to keep my self deprivation to a minimum all the while keeping your annoyance down, too, as well, also.
There's plenty of other people ready to do the criticism for you, in the crazy world of RPG illustration, so you dont have to.
You're right, I guess it's my way of bracing for the blow.

Well, you're orders have yet to be filled out, Sir. I is still unemployed. Maybe you can demand they throw large wads of cash in my direction. That'd be swell.
Roog: wow, I mean, Wow. You're so nice to say so. And I hope for my sake, and your bragging rights' sake, that you're correct.
Mr. Hershey: You're the guy who works down the block, huh? Yeah, I know you. Why don't you tell the board about your
bell. Oh, i'm sure you know about the bell. You know, the one you hit me over the back of the head with. The same bell you used used to beat me into unconsciousness and robb me of my weeks earnings. Oh, no; I haven't forgotten you. I'll be watching and waiting, you gotta put that bell down sometime and when you do I'm coming for what you owe me. A wad of kleenex, a nickle and both, that's right both tic tacs.
P.S. I've thought about washing windows, but who can afford a squeegy in this economy? I just lustfully eyebal the ones they have in those fancy gas stations. I spend all day there . . . well, that or until the proprieter runs me off with a broom.

very interesting (and that is not a euphanism for anything... I mean it is genuinely interesting) artwork.
Just start getting those portfolios out there!

Allow me to look into my crystal ball and predict that this will change soon.
Now why couldn't you be a cartoonist? :(
No offense...I just happen to need one of those just now.
By the way, add Portrait no. 1 to the epilogue gallery if you can, it deserves to be seen.
