Here's the sitch:
I have some old desktop computer equipment I don't want anymore. It's all PERFECTLY FUNCTIONAL. I've switched them on in the last two months to verify performance, and erase the drives. There may be some cosmetic issues, but nothing you'd be embarrassed to have on your desk -- well, unless you don't like outdated equipment.
1) PowerMac 7400 with two internal drives (2GB and 4/6GB -- not sure of the size of the larger drive) and a crapload of RAM. It includes a keyboard, trackball, and probably some other internal goodies. I seem to recall a flakey OrangeMicro PC emulator board, but no promises there. The necessary cables are included, but I may be missing some manuals. System software is preloaded, but backup CDs are not present. Monitor not included.
2) Compaq Presario 4508. I think the HD is 2GB or thereabouts. No promises. Includes internal CDROM and floppy drives. Windows 98 is preinstalled, no backup CDs available. No keyboard, mouse, or monitor included.
3) UMAX Astra Scanner. I can't recall if it's model 1200 or 2400. If there's serious interest, I'll go verify it. Dunno if it's SCSI or serial.
4) Zip Drive. Can't remember if it's SCSI or serial. Power cord included, and if I can find some disks, I'll throw those in as well.
As I was nurtured to be a pennypincher of the highest caliber, I am loathe to simply throw these in the garbage where they belong. Plus, who am I to judge that these are entirely worthless for everyone else -- especially when the parts/components would definitely be worth a few bucks?
So, if you're interested in any of these, I'm asking that you
1) pay the total shipping cost LESS $10 (or $5 for scanner/zip),
2) AND trade me an RPG product you don't want, but that I have a passing interest in
In other words, I'll cover $10 of the cost to ship the computer (or $5 in the case of the scanner or zip drive) to you, and I'd like you to trade me a relatively inexpensive RPG you don't want/play any more. Trust me, I won't let you rip yourself off.
This is your golden opportunity to get rid of that languishing Cyborg Commando boxed set or some gaming supplement you never though anyone would be interested in -- try me!
Barring offers, I'm also open to ideas of what to do with these perfectly serviceable machines. Serious suggestions?
