We are looking to start up a new gaming group soon and are looking for 2-4 additional players. We haven't yet decided on a day/time or frequency but I expect we'd want to play at least every other week. We'll wait and see what works for the group. We also plan to play test some scenarios we want to run at Gencon next year. Even if you can't commit to a regular game you are invited to participate in those.

Newbies are very welcome, but mature players only, please.

Games we have played recently or plan on playing include:

Call of Cthulhu
Delta Green
Deadlands
Godlike
GURPS
Brave New World
Star Wars (West End)
d6
Hong Kong Action Theatre! (1st Ed.)
Children of the Sun
Buffy the Vampire Slayer
Hell on Earth

About Us
There are currently three of us (me, my wife, one other) ranging in age from 33-38. We've all been playing RPGs for a long time (25 years for me) and enjoy a wide variety of games and gaming styles. We attend Gencon every year and have been known to attend some other local conventions as well.

I'm the primary GM but would also love to play now & then as well. We plan to host the game at our house in Lake Arbor. It's extremly easy to find and a reasonable amount of parking is available. (We'd also be happy to pick up and drop off players at either Addison Road or New Carrolton metro stations.)

(Warning If you're allergic to cats we may not be the right group for you.)

That is most unfortunate. For what it's worth I have other friends with cat allergies and they seem to do pretty well with ours. This has always baffled me as their long, fluffy hair seems to coat my entire life...

Also, the room we play in is mostly off-limits to them. And we're probably going to be replacing the carpet in there soon. So.... if you're willing to try a single session...

BTW: Which of those games do you guys play?

Hi there. It's great to see our game on the list of those you are interested in. Please feel free to drop by our forum at www.misguidedgames.com/forum and post this in CotS General Discussion. I'm not sure if we have any forum members in your area or not, but it never hurts to ask.

we've played deadlands weird west (me GMing)
Shadowrun
hell on Earth (another guy GMing with me also Gming)

Modern day homebrew invollving the Agency in Deadlands, modern day chicago, a Vampire Creating manitou, and the subsequent sinking of chicago into lake michigan

We've played a lot of Deadlands products because for the most part it was an easy system for us to wrap our brains around
(cards for inititive, poker chips for good RP and bad rolls, etc.)

We've also played DnD
