Plot Outline: The Princess is to be married to Prince Yamamoto, which will put her father's prefecture under the protection of the Shogun. But when the Prince falls ill and refuses audience with the Princess, trouble brews. Beyond the shelter of the castle walls, two shinobi set a local temple on fire as a distraction to attack the Princess. A ronin intervenes, fighting off the shinobi. Flattered by the ronin's heroics, the Princess asks Rain to act as her protector as she journeys back to her father's castle.
