I'm working up a PDF project offering five new races for players of fantasy d20 games. Each image should be 1/4 page at 300dpi (1650 x 1275), black and white line art with the black on a separate layer from the background.

The races are: Argo - Gentle giants who tend forests of tremendous trees (not unlike our own redwoods).
Centicor - A magical crossbreed of Unicorn and Centaur
Jirah - Once a race of proud Mountain Elves, they were transformed by tragedy and salvation into beings of flesh and light.
Lithe - Tribal jackal-like anthropomorphs (but not "furries").
Valorik - A stocky, powerful races very much like humans, but more physically powerful.I can pay $10 per image + 5% of sales made at RPGNow (about $5 per 20 copies sold).

If you're interested in this project, PM me samples of your work (online galleries, etc), and which race(s) you'd like to try your hand at. When we're ready to do the project, I'll PM the chosen artist(s) with a description of the race(s).

I haven't contacted Big Simon for a description (or permission for that matter) but the idea of a centaur/unicorn inspired me while I was sketching tonight:

I wanted to get a little further away from the typical centaur than just adding a horn to his forehead so I went with a sort of elven/equine look for the face. (If it's anywhere near the mark and you'd like to use it, drop me a line at calvertdarren@hotmail.com).

Just wanted to let everyone know that I really like what I've seen so far, and that we'll be making a decision on who we'd like to do what this week.

Thanks!

Okay... I've contacted a couple artists about doing some work. I still have a few more images that will need done, and I'll be contacting more artists in the next couple weeks (most likely after GenCon).
