Don't know if this is against the rules, but there are a ton of artists here with alot of really good artwork and it's hard to just sift through everything.
Myself and a couple of others are currently in the design phase for a setting for D20 Futures and we are looking for a couple of artists.
We do have a specific vision so obviously you have to be flexible enough to work with us :) but we're not real choosy. We're alos taking our time so there is no rush but you have to be wiling to work with us on a schedule if need be.
anyway, contact me through PM or email (jabradleynospam@deloitte.com - take out the "nospam") and we'll talk.
Noticed there are quite a few people looking to do cover art as well and as of right now we have no cover art.....

Please read the following thread:

While you have told us that you want art, you haven't mentioned details.
How much does the job pay per image/page/etc.?
What rights are granted to the artist or is it work for hire?
What "look" are you going for? d20 Future is a generic ruleset that can cover everything from Jules Verne-esque space steampunk to Gunbuster-type outrageousness like using Jupiter for a bomb. You're going to have to be more specific than just saying "science fiction."
Try again.

I've read the thread already. I didn't mention some of that stuff because it's really up in the air.
Details are hard to specify, some ideas I have I can't mention on a public forum for copyright issues and all that. We've just got started so there is still a lot up in the air. Right now we're trying to pull some people together, including artists.
The pay is anything reasonable for what we consider good art. I can't tell you yet any specifics because we haven't established a standard.
Rights for the artist are up for negotiations as well. I'd love to find someone interested in being sort of the art director for the project. The problem is we aren't in it to make money really but are approaching it as a creative endeavor and everyone we've talked to so far seems to want to make a career out of it.
The look is alot like what you see in the Futures book. Sort of a hard scifi, almost comic book like feel I guess. A cleaner cyberpunk feel maybe. Part of the problem is I'm not an artist really so I sometimes have a hard time explaining what I want but when I'm working with someone it seems to come out more.

Ah.
Sweet, wicked irony. Why must you taunt me so?
