Something I did while at work for a friend. Trying to get better at placing values etc with a pencil, in hopes it will make me a better painter. Anyway let me know what you think. Thanks.

Hi,

Looking good but detail will sell a picture like this. If you spend some time getting the hand on the pikeshaft just right it might make all the difference.
The static pose is strong and the design balanced.
I like the overall tonal range and am not too bothered by the helmet.
I hope it goes well for you. Please finish so we can see it.
