Hey, folks,

Does anybody have any information on whatever market research may be publicly available on gamer demographics? For that matter, is anyone aware of any sociological research on rpg'ers? I'd rather have links or sources than data.

WotC's publicly-released Demographic Data from February 2000 is available here:

http://www.thegpa.org/wotc_demo.shtml

That is the only publicly-available data that exists, as far as I'm aware. Anything more recent is proprietary.

I've got time today to utilize my academic resources, but if anybody knows anything about academic research on the subject, I'd think that anybody interested in this forum would probably like to be aware of it.
