WFB: I gots me some Skaven. Who wants 'em?

OK.

The wife and I used to do the Warhammer thing.

I had's me a nice little skaven force building.

Don wan em no mo.

Worse, the minions of the horned rat keep creeping up the steps and chompin' me with their little metal fangs.

They says: "Let's us go-go, big-big man thing, or we's eatses the baby-baby."

Can't let that happen.

So who wants em?

I'm not entirely sure what I've got, but I know I had some Stormrats(?), some warpfire throwers, some plague folk, some troopses, a rat ogre or two, some gutter runners (including the supa-ninja character), some of the grenade guys, assorted regulars, and so forth.

I also have a Doomwheel and one of those big bells, though I can't vouch for the completeness of the parts (neither is assembled).

I also have one of the Horned Rat Demons (He's all painted)

Some of them's is painted, some's of them's is ain't painted.

If anybody's interested, you can put it here or PM me. If somebody is interested, I'll try and get em all organized and give a complete list.

I wants me some cash for shippin', and mebbe a handful of extra bucks, but mostly I want 'em out o' the house.

PS: We also have some other WFB figs floating about, including a goodly chunk of dwarves and some chaos stuff. I can dig that up too, if anyone wants to know about them.

Might take a day or two, as I believe some of them are in my mom's garage.

I know I had a chunk of beastmen, and a good collection of chaos warriors. I think I also have a Bloodthirster. Beyond that, I'll let you know soon.

Question: Do you have secret means of stripping the paint from them?

Most of my chaos stuff was painted up nigh on 9-10 years ago. Some of thems is painted pretty good.

Somes of thems is a sin against God. :)

I think I also have an almost complete 4th edition WFB basic box, should anyone want it.

Soak the metal minis in Pine-Sol overnight and then with a little scrubbing with a tooth brush and a little running water they will be just fine.

Plastics are more delicate, the Pine sol will work but you have to soak them for only a very short time or you will miss the critical point where the paint is ready to wash off and the plastic will start to melt.

Alright.

Here's what I've found so far:

Skaven first: Man, I have way more of these than I thought. Here's what I've found so far (all unpainted, so I know I have a bundle more around)

6 Skaven Stormrats(?) - including 1 standard bearer and 1 (I think) champion.

6 Clanrats - including 2 in a blister pack.

1 skaven rifleman leader - cool mini!

4 gutterrunners- including Snickt(?) the supa-ninja

1 Rat ogre - unpainted and unassembled

1 magic user - I think. He has a skull in one hand and a knife in the other, and he's wearing robes.

1 packmaster + 4 giant rats

1 blister of a rat swarm

1 complete warpfire team

1 clan rat standard bearer

1/2 rifle team - he's carrying the rifle stand.

Queek Headtaker(?) - He's got a pick in his right hand, a sword in his left. He's in full armor and he's got a banner on his back.

1 box of plastic skaven clan rats. All still attached to blisters.

1 Doomwheel w/box - looks complete to me.

1 Vermin Lord in unopened box - Wow! Forgot I had this one. That makes 2 vermin lords I own.


Chaos:

So far looks this looks like the only one I have at my house:

Chaos Dragon: Unpainted. Looks Complete. No box (so far). Looks like this feller has two tails. Rider has a hoisted axe in left hand. I forgot I even had this fella.

I also have a bit of empire and a smattering of dark elves.

We have a decent collection of Dwarves as well.


Also, I have a bit of 40k, mostly space marines and imperial guard.

PS: Ya know, I always wanted a Sigmar figure. Just for the fun of it. Likewise a figure for the hard-as-fuck elf king (was it Khaine himself) who was written up in that bad ass Elf codex fiction. You know, the one where the climax pits him and his dragon against four greater chaos demons.

Ditto 40K minis for the Primarchs, the young emperor and Horus.
