Seamus, that's really scary. I don't think you wasted your time. Imagine that as a Little Fears illo, or something like that! Terrifying stuff.
It's not supposed to scary?....What do you mean it's your favourite Uncle? .... Serial killer, favourite uncle...easy mistake to make....

thanks for the kind words, it was originally a metal etching i did, then printed, but the print came out all blurred, so i scanned it... Made it lighter and then posterized it down to two colours. Then I just coloured it in.
When I did the original etching, i had some idea like that in mind, he had a smiling face, and lots of detail. I was thinking, some old wise prison man or something.
Btw, I like your artwork, especially grimoire.
