Shiba, I don't think it works like that. Art directors rarely do more than they have to find artwork. Since you are competing with everyone who is sending them portfolios, the best you can hope for is to put up a website address and they might check that. Because that is easy for them.

If you don't have a website, you should post a sample or two of your work here. I don't think A.D.s will spend time writing you an e-mail and requesting artwork samples.

If you haven't been here much before then I have two pieces of advice.
Firstly, listen to Storn. He knows what he's doing. Kinda like a wise father figure to us rookies and pros alike ;)
Secondly, like the man says, do get a site with your stuff on it. Make it easy on the eye and fast loading. It doesn't have to be Flashed up to the teeth, it just has to show your work. There's a guy offering free web design on this very forum, you should talk to him. 2 birds with 1 stone.
You may want to put some pieces on here for critiques. I almost guarantee you won't be bloodily ripped apart and will only get good advice.
