Nice review!

This game seems decidedy aimed at Liberals looking for some Bush-bashing, and not the other way around. Few people enjoy ridiculizing themselves.

I believe the game would have been funnier, and spanned a greater audience, if it had included stupid politicians from all ends of the political spectrum (e.g. Democrats voting to "extend abortion rights to abort children up to age 10", or Libertarians voting to "abolish the ozone layer", or Greens voting to "prohibit all forms of technology, including clothing").

Consequently, since it's partisan, I won't buy the game as I might have.

<I>Few people enjoy ridiculizing themselves.</I>

Given the number of games which make fun of gamers and their sacred cows, I don't think this is accurate. Hell, look at Munchkin, Chez Geek, and Knights of the Dinner Table are prime examples. I find that people who don't have a sense of humor about themselves are fairly rare, particularly in the gamer market, but that may just be me.

<I>Libertarians voting to "abolish the ozone layer"</I>

This makes no sense. I'd go for Libertarians voting to allow hard-core narcotics to be sold in school cafeterias or legalize infants owning automatic weapons.

Thanks for the review!

Well, after hanging around the RPG.net Tangency forums, it's pretty clear that the first edition of a political humor game should cater towards Liberals. Maybe we'll see a Republican edition when and if the Democrats reclaim the Oval Office. (:
