Hey all, here's a cover piece I did for issue 2 of The Dragonlance Chronicles (comic adaptation) from Devil's Due. Its from a small scene in the first novel, but it was a fun chance to to do Raistlin, and the fanboy in me couldn't resist.

Hope you like!

Hey, very nice! In the interest of learning how artists make colour decisions, why did you decide on such an orange palette for his robes, rather than red?

Nice work Tyler,
That stone-Cold expression on Raistlins face really sets the mood for the piece. Thanks for sharing,
Bryce.

Good to see you doing cover work, on Dragonlance no less! I'm hopin this book will be cool, cause I have little love for the DC (I think?) spin off from the nineties. The ghosts are excellent, especially the ornate rendering of the armor. Raistlin's cool, too, but his left arm is bugging me. I like it's emaciation, showing Raistlin as truly frail and spindly; however, its angle seems off, making for an exceptionally long bicep before the elbow joint. If this werent for a comic i think the trees could be rendered a bit more, but the book title will take care of that here! Cool job. You going to the Chicago comicon this year?
