That's what it says, free shipping. To anywhere.
Ok, so the books aren't much, but they're free:
D&D 3e PHB. Second printing, so it has a dozen or so pages of bonus material reprinted from Dragon.
D&D 3e DMG. First printing.
AD&D 2e Monster Mythology.
There was another book that just begged to be here, but it was actually interesting enough to end up in Florin's spring cleaning book swap instead, so sorry about that. Oh, and i also have extra copies of HeroQuest, Nobilis and LotR maps, but those aren't free, so they're in another thread.
The PHB is in virgin mint condition - as in, if you picked up a "mint" copy in a store, it would quite possibly be worse than what i've got on my hands here. The DMG has a small scratch or scuff on its cover here or there but the pages inside are mint.
Monster Mythology has an uneven binding (but so do all the other copies of that book that i've ever seen) which makes it a bit difficult to leaf through. For some reason, the first interior page also has a small watermark stamp of the store where it was bought. Weird, i know. Caveat captor.
The rules are simple:
1. At some point in the future (or past) offer a book of your own for free like this. (You don't have to give anyone free shipping, though.)
2. Please be someone who will put them to proper use, as opposed to making a home video about chopping up and burning D&D books.
If you want them, send me a PM and/or make a shout here in the thread.
(Ok, so no, i'm not crazy, and i'm not rich. It's just that i'm really fond of this community and want to do at least a small thing for it. Plus a few individuals here have really treated me very nicely in the past (you know who you are) and i'm not sure i'll ever have an opportunity to return the kindness to them personally, and at least this way i feel like i'm restoring a bit of the karmic balance. Plus i've recently received my first decent salary ever, so i know i won't have to sell a kidney to pay the postage. Plus i can't use PayPal, so i couldn't receive the postage money anyway ;). And it's only three books' postage anyway, so why am i writing this?)
