So I did a shoot the other night using both a digital and 35mm nikon. I'll be getting the film for the nikon developed tomorrow (there will be little to no motion blurr in those shots) but thought I might show some shots i took last night. I have other ideas in the works too so I'll post those shots when I get time to work on them.

Trying to get a controlled wind was driving me crazy.

I think these are gonna be great looking... eerie and dark.

Looks cool. I can't wait to see the finals. What kind of costume stuff do you have around for this stuff?

I've been slowly building up a supply of weapons, clothing, armor, helmets and cloth material. These things don't have to be exacting or perfect - I have a giant plastic shield that on camera, looks real. Although eventually I'd like to have a good supply of almost everything lol - thats a big dream tho. I also want to get a sowing machine to start making my own costumes :-)

Now this is the way to use photo reference. Great images. I'm sure they'll make for some very cool paintings (which you are required to post here once completed). :)

Actually, it would be cool to see a whole WIP thread from shoot to finished painting. Keep us updated!
