Hi Everyone,

The Guild of Blades Publishing Group is looking for computer game designers to partner with us on a number of game projects. Projects include, but are not limited to:

1483 Online (TM) Interactive game & other Empires of History interactive computer games.

Interactive Empires (TM)

Online Interactive Fiction

Button Wars Online and Grunt Deluxe Online.

And some other projects that are still only in early concept stages, hence we can post them here in public.

We need one or several programmers to form a design team to handle the programming. The Guild of Blades will handle everything else, from artwork, marketing, publishing, infrastructure support, production, etc, etc. We looking for existing design studios looking to expand or programmers working to form their a new studio for the purpose of these business ventures.

Anyone interested should e-mail dowrie@guildofblades.com with an introduction and resume, including any examples of previous game designs they have worked on (if any). Be specific regarding programs and areas of expertise. We'll follow up with those submissions that may be suitable for our program and business needs.

Thanks,

Patrick Chipman

Could you be more specific with what you mean by "online interactive fiction?" That's a very, very nebulous term, and while I might be interested in working with some facets of it (MUSHes and whatnot), others (freeform message boards) are of no concern to me.

Others might be in the same situation, which is why I'm asking this publically. ;)

Hi Patrick,

I'll be happy to answer your questions regarding the Interactive Fiction, but really don't want to post too many details here in a public forum. Needless to say, we're talking about something a fair bit more sophisticated that chat runs, MUDS, Mushes, etc.

Please send me your e-mail privately to dowrie@guildofblades.com and I'll give you the concept overview. The Interactive Fiction is actually just one segment of an overall larger online business structure being formed. Anyone one else that is a potential programer and would like more details on any of this, feel free to contact me privately. We can supply fairly detailed overviews. If we get into talking about the details of the revenue model behind these, we may request that a Non Disclosure Agreement be signed before we get into too many of the details. But that won't stop us from providing you the basics.

Thanks,
