This past Gencon, 18 of the attending artists collaborated together on wonderful project, "The Realms of Faerie". Each artist contributed to a large handmade blank wall scroll designed for calligraphy or sum-e work. This scroll, measuring 61 inches long and 17-1/2 inches wide, is now available for auction on ebay at http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=7375887664.
Participating artists include renowned Dungeons and Dragons illustrator, Jeff Easley, as well as Drew Baker, Richard Blumenstein, Jeff Carlisle, Storn A. Cook, John Dollar, John Esh, Carl Frank, Khymberly Cochran Hale, Andy Hopp, Veronica V. Jones, John E. Kaufmann, Heather V. Kreiter, Raven Mimura, William O'Connor, Steve Prescott, Stephanie Pui-Mun Law, Thom Scott, and Beth Trott.
The proceeds from this benefit auction will go to the Kennedy Krieger Institute in Baltimore, MD, an internationally recognized facility dedicated to improving the lives of children and adolescents with pediatric developmental disabilities through patient care, special education, research, and professional training.
