This sounds like a fascinating setting and I like the idea of a horror game set amidst the horror of WWI.

But there is a slight problem with the background info. The Triple Alliance did not include Italy, it was the Austro-Hungarian, Germany and the Ottoman Empire that made up the Triple Alliance. Italy was allied with England, France and Russia (and the USA and Serbia and Rumania and probably others I can't think of at the moment).

The original Triple Alliance did indeed include Italy, but it stayed neutral and then switched sides in 1915.

You're correct about that. But since Italy never fought on the side of the Austro-Hungarians and Germans it might confuse people who don't know the period very well into thinking Italy was an *active* part of the Triple Alliance.

I know _I'm_ confused. (Now!) But then, in my game about giant zombie cyborgs, I wasn't too concerned about it in the first place. Thanks for the comments, tho. I consider these threads supplementary material.

Sorry 'bout that Richard. I should have been more clear about Italy's role in war. As Dan said, my focus was less on good clean history and more on good clean zombies.

It's ok... I labeled this a "quibble" for a reason. It really doesn't matter who's shooting whom when the dead start walking :)
