Not to be a smartass or anything, but it sure sounds to me like it is located at 1407 Graymalkin Lane in Salem Center, New York State. But, you know, that is just a guess :)

Oh, absolutely. ;) But Groton seems a little more appropriate, somehow- my aunt owns a bed and breakfast up there, and it's the right kind of country.
