I just wanted to stress how important it is for GM to talk to their players BEFORE using romantic/romance/sexual themes in game. Most people are usually fine with romantic plots, where there characters are on the periphery. I personally haven't seen a case where that isn't true. But the second you start having NPCs or even PCs getting involved/or attempting to involve them in romantic relationships and sexual relationships without having first gotten to know them can be a real problem.
Knowing your players boundaries and limits is important. GMs need to at least disscuss with each player privately BEFORE the game ever even gets off the ground and find out if there is anything they REALLY can't handle. Players are sometimes hesitant to stop a scene they are uncomfortable with because they don't want to feel like a baby.
