Have to say you right on with A/State. The setting is absolutely fabulous with some really great inspiration. There is so much provided that it would be a long time running before you would run out of ideas for game plots. Plus with their first supplement for it (Lostfinders Guide to Mire's End) there is simply more great information dumped into the GM's lap.
The system is a little... quirky. That's my only hanging point with the whole game. But, evidently like you, it's more of a personal preference thing than anything substantial.
I still have a review half written for it. One of these days I'll get around to finishing it up.
