Converted from Phorums BB System
I think cost of rent and other big expenses are the biggest headaches--you're locked in a lease for a long time and you can't spend less when the market is slow.
So, what's the optimal size for a retail store? I think 1,000 sq. ft. should be large enough for the store proper.
Also, I have heard on other dicussions the idea of opening a food outlet next door to gain cross-sales. Anyone can comment on this idea?
Just another guy looking into opening ....
