Jeremy Reaban's Summary:

A Freeport adventure which is true to its roots: dark and somewhat twisted fantasy horror. Much more hack & slashy than the original trilogy, but that's because this is a Dungeon Crawl Classic. Still, Freeport fans should give this a look.

I recently bought this product and am prepping it for a one off adventure with my regular gaming group. I thought that the reviewer gave a fair and decent summation of the high and low (relatively few) points of the adventure. It was truly a decent read and a welcome change from all the same type of city adventures that are full of intrigue and mystery... but this style of play seems to suit our group better. I also agree with the reviewer concerning the pregenerated characters - I really do like having "backups" just incase there's a late show up or the dice are against someone one night and they need an extra character. Overall, thanks for the review!
