Steve Jackson actually did a translation of the french game : "Tempete sur l'Echiquier" (storm on the Chessboard) published a few years ago by Ludodelire and now reprinted by Jeux Descartes.

Hello,

Perhaps I should issue an errata about my above column. It would, alas, have to be longer than the original column since I believe (if I did my job right) there is only about 10% truth in the piece.

The scary thing is, I've been trying to figure out if making a Knightmare edition of Tic-Tac-Toe wouldn't actually be a fun minigame...
