Just make sure your not typing up any baneful and dire spells for gaming when you bleed on the keyboard--bad things might happen. (Game idea: PC Spellcaster in Technomancer, Shadowrun et al. has his "computer device" which stores his spells become possessed--odinarily minor demon but now has acess to all his spells! Casting them via broadband from any output device!
Anyway I digress. I was considering this the other day. The only thing for me with comparable dollar values (engaged but poor with no kids) is buying DVD movies--as I can get them at discount, and they will be watched more than once. But that is the only thing which has comparable costs (it is actually less if I buy previously viewed DVD's too) unfortunatly I prefer game-books more. So they are a budgetary factor. I just wish the companies released them more cyclically--not so many right before/during/after Gen Con and more spread out over the quarterly purchasing cycle.
