I recently bought the ePublisher's Guide, and one of the things I noticed was that there are several pie charts and other tables in the book, but they don't credit their sources. In the case of the "Customers by Country" pie chart, not all of the national percentages are present, and one of the pie sections is labeled simply "Other" with no explanation... and it's the second-largest slice of the pie. I assume that slice means any nations not listed as their own slice (like Mexico, which was a little surprising to me as an omission), but I am curious about where these figures came from, and about more of the specifics. Is this from a distributor or a publisher? Are these stats from RPGNow? RPGMall? Are these all RPG customers?

Does anyone know? It was placed in the section on desktop publishing for some reason (page 45) and I don't even know who made the chart.

The stats come from a 3rd party tracking system linked to the front page of RPGNow.com website. In short a counter that also tracks locations and such... I donno how accurate it is or where it actually gets that info from, but it's something we have as a resource mainly for tracking referals and such.

The reason Mexico doesn't appear on the cart is I think I just took the top 10 referals and used them and grouped all the others in to the general category. For details here is a list that may help you out (DOMAIN, HITS, % of total):
