Converted from Phorums BB System

Wow, man. Be thankful.

That you have a group that is stable enough that you would seriously consider planning a campaign that will span some 3-5 years and 400+ hours of table time. Using the same campaign, the same characters, the same system (and d20 at that.)

You are truly blessed.

I am fascinated to see how this turns out.

I am thankful. I have the best players around and we're all in agreement on what we plan to accomplish.

I just added a new player (to bring the regulars up to four plus two part-time players). The new player is also a 30 something DM/husband/father/worker for the man like me and is really excited to get in on the ground floor as well. He's inviting a friend and fellow player along and I hope he agrees to join as well.

I think any GM can make something like this happen if he or she demonstrates a strong conviction and belief in making the game work. And, of course, the GM truly respects his or her players. I acknowledge that every player has family and a life and canceling is not a problem (I cancel a game once or twice a year myself). We just decided to make it work and that's what we're going to do.

And I'm fascinated to see how this is going to turn out as well!
