Database Error

A database query syntax error has occurred. This may indicate a bug in the software. The last attempted database query was:
(SQL query hidden)
from within function "SearchMySQL4::update". MySQL returned error "1016: Can't open file: 'searchindex.MYI'. (errno: 145) (localhost)".
Was updating the forum Archive structure, and it gave me that error everytime I saved a new page.

The edits still saved fine, just the error.

Fixed.

This is one of those things where you need to give the database a swift kick periodically (or, in more proper terms, repair the search index). Fortunately Shannon gave me the magic incantation some time back.

Unfortunately, we're still not sure exactly how or why this happens, which means it'll continue to periodically tie itself in knots... --Kwd
