Last night I attended a presentation at the local Mac dealer for Quark 7. There was food, door prizes, and a nice showing off of the upcoming Quark. Nice. Well, the three door prizes were free copies of the full version of Quark 7 when its released. And I won one.
:D :D :D :D :D :D :D
Aaaanyhow, I won't be able to use it, even when it comes out, as I'm putting off my switch from Windows to Mac until the Intel Power Macs come out (saving my pennies). So, in the meantime, I want to start looking into plugins that are "must haves," but don't cost two arms and a leg.
I'm not sure what'll be around for Quark 7, but I figured it's better to start looking now. The only extension/plugin I have on my Quark at work is called Dew Drops(?) that lets me drag-and-drop stuff into Quark, but that's about it. Help? Suggestions?
Again, I won't be making the switch to Mac for a while (end of the year at the earliest), so i'm in noooo rush here. I've got Multiad Creator for Windows that'll keep me happy DTP wise until then.
