Ack. I feel like such a jerk because I have to reneg on my promise made upthread. I'm going to have hella homework to do tomorrow, which will likely leave little time for raiding. I've made the mistake of putting WoW before school before, and that's not something I want to do again.
Sorry. :(
I hope you at least have time in the next few days to log in and disenchant the 29 items I just sent to you! :p

Aaaand when I change epics in ZG to DKP and award more points for ZG to compensate, the same old arguments come up about DKP vs rolling.
If people want to look at this thread and tell me if I missed anything in my ten-page-long-reply, let me know. x.x

Loot is always the sticking point.
No, seriously. It's always the sticking point. It doesn't matter what system you use; everyone feels like they've put in the time, and wants to get the drops, and since only one person can get any given drop...
The best system is one that both works acceptably well for guild advancement and keeps the players happy enough that they don't leave. You'll never eliminate drama entirely (the greater internet fuckwad theory applies, and you will never get a forty-man WoW raid without at least a few idiots or jerks), but as long as it doesn't actually sink the guild, it's about as good as it'll get.
