Patrick,

In your latest installment you write "A few weeks pass, and in late June I get the word from Morgan Printing that the books are done."

What did you do during those weeks? Did you make plans to conquer the world? Wrote for the supplement Escape..., or the yet to be named game for 2003? Wrote columns like these? Work for Mark? What did you do, with Monster Island getting printed?

I once had a book at the printer (a yearbook for the student association, if you're wondering), and we pretty much didn't do anything while waiting for the printed copies to arrive. As I don't think this is possible while heading a compagny, my question.

Thanks in advance,

--Jake

Great question! I should have mentioned this. Mostly, I worked on a freelance writing project for Steve Jackson Games. I also kept in touch with David Pulver as he wrote Escape from Monster Island, and continued promoting Monster Island.

While there's really nothing you can do on the book itself, just wait anxiously for it to come back from the printer, there are always plenty of other publishing tasks to be done.
