You know the thread. You love the thread. It's the Thread To End All Threads.
Of course, I mean the "RPG Motivational Posters" thread in RPOpen (http://forum.rpg.net/showthread.php?t=264472).

Of course, the problem with it is that a lot of folks who might want to read it from the beginning would see a bunch of broken links, and miss a lot of jokes...

So, here's a question for the behind-the-scenes guys: How much of a pain in the ass would it be to copy the images (important distinction) to our Wiki, and create a gallery there? More important, what would it do to the machine the Wiki sits on?

I await your reply... --Czar Knockwood

I'd gladly help transfer the posters I've made to the wiki, if we had a page set up there for it. Guess it's up to the mods as to whether it'd be feasible and appropriate or not.

Yeah, that's why I'm posting here... if I start this project, considering the popularity of the original thread, you know that the Wiki project would be the biggest thing on there, at least for a while. Not to mention uploading 5000+ images, and probably several prople editing pages at once.

So, my big question: can the Wiki handle it? Can ShannonA and I handle it? :) Also, what would happen is two people edited the same page at the same time?
