I haven't posted any artwork in a while so thought I'd throw these out. They are character sketches I did up a couple monthes back. I'm very happy with them, except the male elf characters right forearm and hand. It's one of those damned things you don't see til you're most of the way finished. Please C&C if you like.
Thanks in advance,
Eric :)

Sweet. That is some good stuff. 'Bout how long does it take you to do one of those?

Thanks Craig, I appreciate the words :) It probably takes about a full day including design/proofs up to finish. It tends to get broken up up, though, over a few days.
Thanks much again,
Eric

Hi Eric,
I always enjoy seeing your work, and these are another batch of pieces that you should be pleased with.
I love the level of detail that you have put into these portraits.
Great stuff.
Cheers,
Ralph

I'm with Ralph on these, Eric, great level of fine detail that doesn't overwhelm the overall design. Nice stuff. I prefer the monster ones over the elves myself. I'm working on pics of a Gnoll cleric and Orcish champion that I'll post when they come out of NDA land for some comparison.

Eric,
Man, that's some nice stuff. Excellent concepts and great ink-work, as usual. The elk-guy is especially cool.
I really like the background/border work on these peices. Very interesting, and they work well with each character.
Do they put something in the water up there that enhances one's skill with pen and ink, or something? Geeez. If so, I'm moving up there! Or better yet, maybe you could ship a case of it down to me, C.O.D? What say you, good sir?
Great stuff!

I've told you before.....stop showing off and showing us up!
Sweet work as usual. That elkin reminds me of Nemesis the Warlock.

Great stuff
You have a really interesting style that appeals to me.
I think the Animal men are the better images, those Lion men imparticular are excelent.
Keep posting.

Ralph, as always, thanks for the feedback. It means a great deal.
Kalastos, I look forward to seeing your designs :) Thanks for the comments.
David, Thanks for the feedback. The back ground design comes from my years as a sign designer. As to the water up here, well, I live right next to a pulp mill, so perhaps it's the dioxins
Noel, thanks my man and start posting again :)
Andy, thanks for the kind words. The animorphs are my faves as well.

Great inks Eric! Lots of stuff to rave about. The designs for the armor look like real armor. The anthros species can be recognized without too much effort. The linework and solid blacks are working well together.
The only glaring thing I could see was that right arm you mentioned. It really looks kind of torqued around too much to look natural. But the armor he's dressed in is great!

Eric, you've been holding out on me punk:)
Great looking batch, man. I think you and Andy Brase should be hired to illustrate every wolf-man or werewolf related character that's published:) You do those things so beautifuly. As usual, the linework is something to behold and your armor designs are second to none. Great work as always my man! Keep em' comin:)

Avery, Jon and Chris, thanks for the kind words, guys :) I sure appreciate it. Chris, I haven't been holding out on you, I've just been lazy ;) And Jon, I look forward to it as always.
Thanks again,
Eric
