As with the Eastern Front, I wish there were a few more scenarios in the book, including a one-board Peleliu, since there's no one-board scenarios that actually use the war ship rules, let alone the aircraft carrier.

Also, I thought that the Japanese tank models really lacked detail compared to other pieces.

I agree. I've been studying Peleliu for various reasons, including something involving Godlike, and I was disappointed to find that it was included as an Overlord (two board) scenario.

Someone did create a Peleliu landing one-board scenario over at the Days of Wonder Memoir '44 site. It looks interesting, but I don't remember reading about there being substantial minefields in the centre of the Marines' assault path.
