First of all, thank you so much to admins for putting the RPG Wiki out there. After nearly two decades of DM'ing, I've finally begun to pool my mess of notes into a unified campaign setting. Along with Jans Carton's Hypertext d20 SRD and Eggertson's 3EProfiler, I think the Wiki is one of the best things to happen to the genre.
Anyway, enough of that. A horrible thought occurred to me the other day, as I was dumping yet more material into the Wiki. I understand that the likelihood is very slight, but what if the site went *poof* and disappeared? I personally would be extremely agitated, as I've already put more effort into it than any other online repository of any kind, and I don't plan on stopping anytime soon.
Is there a way to download the content to some offline destination (aside from things like simple browser caching)? I understand that there would be bandwidth issues and such, but I wonder if it's at all possible. I personally would appreciate some sort of batch downloading capability that I could run once a month or so. Or is there some third-party utility out there that anyone's familiar with?
Well, like I said, backup or no backup, it's still one of my favorite sites, and I can't thank the admins enough.
