I have some ideas for heroes and warlocks for a Pulp Sanctum campaign, but I don't think I'm up to writing a complete article. What do you suggest? Would someone be interested in co-authorship? Or should I just post my ideas here in the forum?

Either works for me. In fact, maybe a few blurbs about the characters would help drum up interest in any potential co-authors. Even if not, the forum would be a great repository for misc Sanctum ideas.

Well, here's what I came up with. If I were writing a full article I'd give them fully fleshed-out descriptions, but I think they're pretty self-explanatory as it is:

- Encyclopedic Knowledge
- Overconfident
Charles Elliott, straight-arrow G-man
- Legal Authority
- Forensic Training
- Crack Shot
- Honorable
- Duty to Superiors
Maureen O'Hare, intrepid journalist
- Determination
- Feminine Charms
- Investigative Skills
- Contacts
- Reckless
Tyrone Brown, bare-knuckles boxer
- Two-Fisted
- Stalwart
- Friend of the Helpless
- Poor & Black
Jack Harrigan, tramp steamer captain
- Owns a Ship
- International Savvy
- Unflappable
- Friends in Low Places
- Shady Past (& Present)
Warlocks
Aayala, jungle queen
- Affinity: Beast Control
- Fearful Subjects
- Athletic
- Primitive
Heinrich Schlesinger, Nazi doctor
- Affinity: Fleshcrafting
- Medical Expertise
- Government Backing
- Obsessive
Wu Lin-tzu, criminal mastermind
- Affinity: Mind Control
- Criminal Mastermind
- Loyal Minions
- Crippled
Malcolm Morton, mad scientist

Here are some pulp-era organizations I came up with (they weren't created specifically for Sanctum, but you could use them nonetheless).
Promethean Foundation (villain)
On paper, the Foundation is a think-tank dedicated to the advancement of science and knowledge. However, the real goal is the self-advancement of the small group of wealthy, power-hungry and unscrupulous businessman who control and fund the Foundation's projects. They seek power through any means, whether it be the development of new technology or the discovery of ancient secrets.
Cassandra Project (ally/villain)
The Cassandra Project is a secret government project dedicated to research and development in the field of parapsychology. Their primary interest is in potential applications of paranormal talents in espionage and counter-espionage.
Order of the Silver Star (ally/villain)
The Order is a secret society founded in the late 1800s which is dedicated to the study and practice of arcane and esoteric rituals. Some members are interested in knowledge for its own sake, while others are more concerned with personal gain. The Order is mostly based in Europe, with major branches in Cambridge, Paris and Prague.
Keepers (ally)
The Keepers' symbol is the famed Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil. They collect and preserve dangerous and esoteric knowledge for the purpose of keeping it out of the hands who might be harmed by it, or might use it to harm others. Naturally, they opppose the Order, whom they view as prying into matters best left alone. They view this as both a sacred calling and a burden. Originally a Catholic organization, they have in recent years expanded their membership to allow select Protestants and even Jews. Although they are no longer under direct Papal authority, they still receive funding from the Vatican.
Scorpions (villain)
The Scorpions are an elite clan of fantatical assassins believed to operate out of a hidden fortress in the Zagros Mountains of Iran. Some believe them to be descended from the original Hashashim, others think they are a remnant of the notorious Thuggee of India.
Black Tiger Syndicate (villain)
The Black Tigers are the most influential criminal syndicate in Asia. Though based in China, their influence extends from Thailand to Japan. They deal in drugs, prostitution, blackmail, extortion, illegal gambling and every other profitable form of vice known to man.
Secret Dragons (ally)
The Secret Dragons are an ancient order of martial artists dedicated to opposing the Black Tigers and others of their kind.

Very nice. I'll throw in a couple I was cooking up for another India-themed article:
The Preservers - Servants of Vishnu whose sacred duty is the protection of Hindu society from supernatural threats. They move in circles of wealth and power, even within the British political and economic machines.
The Dancers - Followers of Shiva whose sacred duty is the destruction of supernatural threats by any means necessary. Their methods often put them at odds with the Preservers, despite their shared goals.
