A fun side topic to this weeks article (that I will not be getting to at any point) is the top ten RPG Groups from literature. Here is my quick list of what I think the best groups are:

1. Space Marines from Aliens. I only dream of my groups being this good.
2. The crew of Firefly (Okay, I am on that bandwagon.)
3. The Fellowship of The Ring (Ditto that bandwagon thing.)
4. Dragonlance (despite tasslehoff)
5. The National Gaurd Unit from Dog Soldiers (Spoon? There is no spoon)

You keep ignoring the greatest team of all times, the 3 Musketeers...

The Icewind Dale party, anyone?

Sorry for the fanboying, but how about the Cleric Quintet party?

Hmmm...

This is getting a little silly, but I always thought Bernard and Bianca (The Rescuers) were freaking sweet. Oh, and can't forget Basil, the Great Mouse Detective, and crew.

Four words: Star Wars original trilogy.

The Crew of Moya
Lina Inverse and co. (because you know Gourry took Int as his dump stat, though not Wis).
Section 9 (From Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex).

The Justice League of America (Grant Morrison's run is my personal favourite).

The Usural Suspects were pretty good except for that one guy who was plotting against the rest...
The crew of Black Lagoon (even if they were all created to work together).

Aang, Sokka, Katara and Toph. These guys have classic PC party written all over them. A hodge-podge mismatch of origins and abilities that bring inevitable doom on every single place they visit.

What about the Dragon Army from Ender's Game?
