I've been working on and playtesting (M&M only) using poker chips and a visual reference card for recording 'immediate' damage conditions rather than using the damage track on the character sheet(s).

For each Bruised/Hurt/Injured condition the player receives one chip per occurence. Other damage conditions only occur 'once' so do not require multiple chips.

The 'charts' are designed in a mirrored fashion (not shown) and bent over to form a tentfold 'card' that sits in the middle of the gaming table so that everyone can refer to them.

A PDF is available of the M&M version and a True20 to follow 'soon'. If you want a copy just PM me your e-mail address.

I probably would have arranged the colors of chips to correspond to different conditions, but it's a sweet idea overall.

I did arrange the colours of the chips to correspond to different conditions!

You've misunderstood me. I wouldn't arrange them the way *you* did. I'm not entirely certain, without consideration, how I would have arranged them.

I think this looks cool, and you can expect a PM from me shortly. ;)

That looks really good.

I'd been thinking of making cheat sheets like that for my group, since we can never remember the rules. Is there space on that to maybe put down the center something like 'Failed Toughness Save by 1 to 5'?

I've had a number of requests for these via PM's but, unfortunately, a number of requests neglected to include their e-mail address. I'm happy to send them out but remember the e-mail!

I used poker chips when I ran 1st edition: Blue for bashing damage (as in "black and blue", Red for lethal damage (as in "bloodied"), White for Hero Points. I didn't have all your fancy colors; I think your color choice is fine.

Exactly my reason for choosing those two colours.

Some people seem to have had a problem with the PDF's turning up 'blank'. Please be advised that it's either due to the version of Acrobat Reader you're using OR you're e-mail Spam filter is corrupting the file.

You know, I actually use (a variation of) the M&M 1st edition damage track rules with True20, because everyone at the table thought keeping track of the various conditions would be too slow/confusing.

I may run your idea by them later and see if they want to give it another shot.

Someone's actually offered to host them for a while. Once they've uploaded them they'll be posting the link here.

For those of you still experiencing difficulties with the True20 Condition Chips PDF I've now saved it as a version 5 file instead. As before PM me with your e-mail address as I've not kept a record of what's gone to whom.

I'll host the sheets for quite a while, so no hurries in trying to grab them.

Now available for free (as they've always been) from E-Core Central (http://www.ecore-central.com/mm-condition-chips/). Well the M&M ones are anyway.

As suggested by a member of the Atomic Think Tank I've made some proposed alterations to the Condition Chips reference card.

Since creating this new version I've changed "Saving Throw" to read "15 + Dmg Bonus" in the original file so that players know what their DC target number should be for Toughness saving throws.

I found these (along with the action cards) to be very, very handy.

Streamlined combat quite a bit.
