True 20 and robots.

How would you do robots for True20? Robots have always, to me, been the hardest to do in a non-point based system, since they can have such a diversity of forms for PCs.
So, while keeping the true20 system, how would you do robots as PCs?

The True20 Companion has some ideas for equipment and character design. I would start there, then ask Charles Rice on ENWorld since he can design anything with a d20.

The Lux Aeternium chapter of the True20 rulebook has robots as a PC race. They call them 'synthetics'.
