I'm kicking around an M&M game where the PCs have been granted some (maybe all, I'm not sure yet) of the powers of Greek gods, thereby to stand against the avatars of the Persian gods who are trying to unmake the world.
I think maybe M&M is my system and I'm poking around my 1e book trying on a few powers for size. I'm having a lot of trouble with one, and I'm hoping some of RPG.net's faithful M&M acolytes will show up and help.
I want to build a power that will allow a character, after an appropriate period to concentrate, to be able to locate another superhero, no matter where they are on the planet. I'm not looking for precise street addresses here, but somewhere within a few hundred yards.
The limitations are that it would take some concentration time, you could only hold one being's location in your head at a time, and you'd need specifics, such as the person's name of basic identification information about the powers they have.
This might come with a general "Spidey Sense" that lets the PC know that there are beings with super powers in the general area.
Does that make sense?
Can it be done?
