I've been enjoying very much the articles in this series. It is nice to get the "historical big picture" of our hobby, and learn about the various creative efforts that have taken place.
I'd like to encourage you to do one or more articles on the history of "foreign" (non-North America) RPGs. I'd love to know more about the games that are played in UK, France, Germany, Poland, Israel, Latin America, etc.
Thank you!

it's probably not that easy to get infos about or contacts to other countries. as a rule, there arent that many good and/ or innovative systems outside the English language countries. France maybe...
about my own country, one could probably ask Mondbuchstaben from this forum.

It would indeed be a lot of work because of the inaccessibility to many of those foreign eds. A lot of the British history will come out through the Games Workshop writeup (and to a much lesser extent, Mongoose Publishing), but those are the only foreign companies I'm currently planning.
France comes about a tiny bit through the Chaosium (posted) and Steve Jackson Games (future) articles, since they each picked up a major French line in the mid-1990s.

Looking forward to it, even if it means buying your book instead of getting them columns for free...! :D
