Well with the new patch things are kinda screwy for me, and I can fix most... but my chat channels
After the patch WoW seems to want to assign a different order of channels to everyone of my toons, which makes communication annoying to say the least.
Anyways I was wondering if someone was familiar with an add-on or method that lets you manual assign what channel is what. ie. 4 always being RPGnet

The only way to do it is to leave ALL the channels you're in and rejoin them in the order you'd like.
So long as none of them are chat channels used by addons, and thus join and leavable by them, you should have the right channels on the right numbers forever. (Or until another patch screws with 'em.)

My only problem is that some addon is now adding random numbers after people's names.

Prat does that. Are you using Prat? It adds the raid party numbers after people's names, and their levels before it.

Also, the newly returned LFG channel is there, screwing up your RPGnet placement and whatnot.
If you want to get rid of it, you have to open up the LFG interface and look for something, which auto joins you in LFG, then type "/leave Channel#Whatever"
Yes, it's kind of annoying.

Oh snap, THAT'S what's doing that.
It automatically kicked me out of my RPGnet chan. :(

Nope. I'm guessing it's one of my chat addons, though...

Found it.
Speaking of, does anyone know of an addon that colors people's names by class? My old (now broke) chat addon did, and it was really helpful.

WoW could really use much better management of chat channels and windows.
And LFG is back! Hello, old PUG macro, I missed you!

Yup, Prat does.
Prat does almost anything I can think of to do. Notify me when someone says my name (although I have that off), put people's levels and class right in their chat, lets me rename my channels for display, and more.

Just by the by, anyone having a problem with ag_unitframes not displaying on screen after the patch?

I noticed last night that my Bartender3 no longer has its keybinding options listed in the interface menu. Time to look for a new version or a replacement, I guess.

aguf and bar3 are both broken for me. however I notice that wowace.com has new versions of the files up dated today, so I hope that they are fixed.
I will download and try them both when I log on tonight.

I am having no issues with agUF or Bar3. I also use the WoWAceUpdater 1.8 client to update them daily.

Nope, I had the exact issues that the two previous posters had. aguf wasn't displaying at all and bartender3 was display, but the keybindings were gone and you couldn't keybind to them again.
I hate clicking. I literally could not play WoW last night because of EVERY. SINGLE. PATCH. breaking even the simplest addons.

I found Bartender3 working for me for the most part, except
- my bars #9 and #10 were disabled by default
- positions screwed up
- FadeOut just makes bars disappear, they're not reappearing on mouseover.
Sympathies, Safid! Having your UI broken for you is awful.

This is very odd. I have keybindings for all of my Bartender3 stuff.
Are you using the latest version from www.wowace.com/files/ ?

For me, aguf seemed to be afflicted by tainted code. It worked okay if I selected someone before combat started (though if my target didn't have a target, the ToT and ToToT frames still appeared, they just said "offline"), but if I didn't, nothing appeared in combat at all.
Bartender worked fine.

When I first got on after updating, aguf wasn't showing at all. Logged out, went out and let the ace updater do its thing, and came back in and everything looked fine. Of course, the aguf frame for my character is now some different color, but, not sure if that was planned, or is an issue. Of course, I forgot to update my Atlases, so need to remember to do that tonight when I get on.

Updating reset my "Color character health by class" flag. It might have done the same for you.

I'm hopeful that the newest files (dated post patch) will fix my issues.
Really I don't use a ton of addons: ItemRack, aguf, bar3, NECB, DeadlyBossMods, TitanPanel are about it. It just irritates me that the really simple ones get broken constantly. I mean bar3 is just a mod that MOVES YOUR BARS AROUND and lets you make them smaller. That's it. Why does Blizzard need to change how you keybind extra hotbars? What's the point?
Oh well. It'll be fixed in a day or two and then I won't care for another three months.

my bongo's Mk1 (december 2006 variant) still works fine, heh
Couldn't get on the interface sites at the time i posted, will hopefully get aguf sorted tommorrow sometime (because damn it's a shock trying to revert to the default UI positioning etc) :)

Okay, here's one: I use CooldownCount (the Ace version, it's great). Unfortunately, because of the new interface feature where buffs/debuffs on your target now have cooldown/duration clocks, it tries to place countdown timers onto those. This renders them completely unreadable, not least because it uses the same font size throughout, and if I shrink the font down small enough to be able to see the buff/debuff icons, I can't read the numbers on my action bars (which are currently in big chunky font).
Is there another cooldown count mod I should be looking at to end my woes here or am I stuffed?
