Which books would you suggest to complement this one? I'm thinking especially in terms of getting more setting information, but suggestions about any good addition are welcome! :)

I would suggest the GM's Survivial Guide. While it may be 1st edition, it also contains a ton of setting material that helps grasp the Rokugan flavor beyond the core rules.

I hear good things about The Four Winds, Creatures of Rokugan and Art of the Duel.

Alas, I only have the core 3rd edition. But really... the core book covers soooo much, the other books are just bonus stuff. :D

I would recommend checking out the official Alderac forums and see all the great resources the forum peeps have to offer.

Jhilahd has good suggestions on the books you should pick up. The Four Winds book is a great primer to about 3 different eras of the setting, and adds a few new schools to the game, expanding the character choices as well as introducing the important npcs and developments in the metaplot. Even if you're not into following the CCG storyline, it'll give you a few ideas on what possible empire-shaking events might happen in your game.

Creatures of Rokugan greatly expands the limited monster section in the corebook. It has about every single monster in the game, and contains player stats for both the Nezumi (Ratlings) and the Naga (Snakemen)

I agree with Jhilahd. I consider the GM's Survival Guide a must have.

I also suggest the Way of the Clans and Winter Court series books to round out your setting information.
