Bug?

First of all, thanks for the Wiki. I appreciate it immensely.

But I think I've found a bug. Whenever I make an edit, I get the following:

Warning: preg_match(): Compilation failed: regular expression too large at offset 0 in /var/www/rpgnet/wiki/extensions/SpamBlacklist/SpamBlacklist_body.php on line 150

As well as...

A database query syntax error has occurred.
This may indicate a bug in the software.
The last attempted database query was:
(SQL query hidden) from within function "SearchMySQL4::update".
MySQL returned error "1016: Can't open file: 'searchindex.MYI'. (errno: 145) (localhost)".

The changes still take effect, though. Thanks for your help.

...and now it's gone. I've seen it before, though, and would expect to see it again. I'll follow up here, if and when that occurs.

This is a known problem which appears from time to time. It has to do with some internal bug in the (outdated) Wiki software. Lord Knockwood or one of the other admins knows how to resolve it, and do so when they become aware of the problem. That is, they can make the error stop, not actually fix the bug. If you see it happen again (and you will) simply ignore it, or ping Knockwood to fix it.
