So tonight I lucked out big time. My friends and I three manned Dire Maul East to get ourselves keyed up. At around 4 am I realized that the warlock, who offered to bring the reusables along for the ritual, had decided to not join us after his Kara run. No big, I didn't pay him or anything, and I'm not upset (ok a little but nothing huge).

Anyway, I get on the Who search and check the major cities. Normally I don't do that but I was desperate to finish this. The first warlock I found was upset that he didn't have the three items I needed. He was bummed because he likes the quest.

Next up I find a 70 lock who didn't have the mats either but she was quite talkative. At the same time I'm talking with a 63 warlock and it turns out she does have the ritual items.

In the end I have that talkative 70 and the 63 along with me and two RL friends awesome enough to stay up til all hours to see me on this mount. We run a wipe free destruction of Dire Maul West. It's 6:30 and I'm tired but I've been enjoying mount for a half hour now.

I'm so damn tired, but I'm so geeked at having my epic and also really content. :D

Excellent - It sounds worse than the damn epic druid flightform quests, but not by much - which I didn't get to finish yesterday morning :(

I'm not sure where you are on those - but it's probably best not to try the cat form one if you happen to be resto. The bear form quest went fine but that one wasn't doable, and as of a few weeks ago the places the shrines are force a spirit res if you die.

I just wish I'd known about the spirit res problem before I gave it a shot as a resto, since I was carrying *all* of my gear at the time. The 50g respec was fine, but the 20g in repairs along with it kinda sucked...
