It's nice to see the things starting to move.
I'm sure you are aware by now about the complexities of Glorantha. In a sense playing in MRQ's 2nd Age Glorantha is a better bet than playing in the 3rd age because for the later there are too many resources created through the years to the point it may be overwelmng for the new GM and players.
In any case, you can find a lot of things in the net that may help you in expanding your perspective on the game world. There's a resource I think you should get sooner or latter: The Cults Compendion from Dark Moon Publications. True, it does not cover directly Ralios (even if there are some connections from Salfester IIRC), and it's about how the cults look on the 3rd age. Yet, it has a lot of historical material for 2nd age and it gives you an idea on where things went from the second age onwards. And it's a very good book with excellent material.
