[CoX] European roleplayers, represent!

Hey. Having had a fresh start on Eurpoean servers - through a gift cert - I have realized that it is pretty hard to find roleplaying-oriented players. The Murrkans have Freedom, sure, but I don´t feel like paying up for a second account, what with the few friends I have (two of them, which makes up the entire roster of our glorious Super Group!) having shacked up with me on Defiant.

So - is there anyone out there? Fellow Europeople? Up for some roleplay-heavy teaming and/or supergrouping with associated making up of backstories, side intrigues and origins?

Just make yourself heard, and we´ll start networking.

That´d be pretty cool, if you feel like it - we´re all pretty new to the game, so the highest ranking character would be mine, freshly arrived at lvl 19.

Not as such... if anything, it is fairly positive and optimistic post-Silver Age heroes. People who refuse to grow bitter, even as their origin stories are less than happy - and instead turning tragedy around to determination and defiance, daring to be optimists and idealists.

So far, it´s:

* Girl Prosthetic (Blaster/Electric): My character. A sweet teen genius who designed robotic limbs for herself when she was crippled by a supervillain attack on the laboratory where she worked. Smiling and easygoing, with perhaps just a hint of low self-esteem due to her distinctly inhuman appearance.

* Caestus Pax (Tanker/Superstrength&Invulnerabilty): Yeah, the name´s an Aberrant homage. Your basic Superman character - dedicated and noble, and perhaps a tad less than superbright.

* The Experimentalist (Defender): An odd fellow, part mighty telekinetic and part mad scientist. Gained his powers the old-fashioned way - by swilling his own experimental potions!

More later. We´re planning to add a home page for the SG, Nova Force Prime. We haven´t actually done anything with the SG yet besides getting a (basic) HQ, so that´s pretty much negotiable - we might ven make up a new one if someone comes up with a better concept.

Anything that you feel like playing is nice - though a Peacebringer... heh, that would be interesting. Being fairly new to Paragon City, none of the current members has had any but the most cursory contact with Keldians - well, unless you count the invasion mobs.

But really - anything is fine by me, as long as you´re willing to roleplay. Man, I get so starved for some actual IC interaction at times... ;)

Yo, I'm on Defiant. Currently a Level 19 Blaster called Gunhex, and I've actually filled in the backstory part and everything. Would be cool to meet up.

Edit - Though I should probably mention I wouldn't join the group as Gunhex. Much better to start a new character or co-opt one of my various Alts.

For the moment, it´s a little irregular. I´m in Sweden, usually playing a few hours in the morning - I haven´t started working yet, but when I´m do it´s probably 12-21 all the way. So... weekends? And perhaps some evenings - I´ll probably have wednesdays free.

Does that work for people here?

Edit: The other two are just starting to get regular schedules, but they´ll probably have more free evenings than I.

This might seem like a dumb question, but couldn´t we just Sidekick your character? Or doesn´t that work out?

We could, but while a Level 9 Frostie would go down like a beyotch, I do kinda want some XP out of it. ;)

Missions derive off the level of the character who's got 'em, sad to say. Still, with four folks on board, assuming we can get that many, that's likely to give us a few Lead ____s if you haven't got the Weatherman badge.

Note: You won't pick up XP for Frostie. Influence, on the other hand, you'll do great on... if you're exemped down.

Youngest level-wise is DNAger, who is only level 3 at the time, the others are just levels 5-9, ranging from a misplaced Changeling: the Dreaming troll named Gretl to others whom I can't remember the names of right now.
